All-Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA) was started as a club racing organization in 1977 and continued over the years under various names. In 1991, AHDRA became the sanction’s official licensed name and began only racing V-Twin motorcycles.
In 2019, long-time rider and racing enthusiast Bill Rowe and his wife, Chrissy Rowe, purchased the brand and are now operating All-Harley Drag Racing Association under RACEAHDRA, Inc.
In 2023, All-Harley Drag Racing Association partnered with the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), starting the first-ever AHDRA AMA Drag Racing Series.
AHDRA AMA supports the Harley-Davidson® V-Twin motorcycle industry by creating and cultivating a community of drag racing enthusiasts, including riders, crew members, industry businesses and media outlets, fans, and spectators, to collaborate, develop relationships, and transfer trade secrets.
The AHDRA AMA Drag Racing Series hosts motorcycle drag races nationwide featuring numerous classes, including three nitromethane-burning “fuel” classes Top Fuel, Nitro Funnybike, and Pro Fuel. These lightning-fast motorcycles reach speeds of over 233 MPH with quarter-mile records of 6.21 seconds.
Gas classes include heads-up, out-the-back door pro classes, index and bracket classes, including baggers, street bikes, and wheelie-bar bikes.
Each event will provide a place to show off performance, speed, and sportsmanship and allow first-time riders - adults and children - a chance hit the track and hone their drag-racing skills.
